MiBAN 2026 – International Conference on Microfluidics for Bio-, Agri- & NanoTech (including the Innovation Forum: Academia–Industry) is organized and fiscally hosted by SciViD Publisher Pty Ltd (“SciViD”) in collaboration with the NanoTRIZ Innovation Institute (Brisbane, Australia).

What We Collect

Peer review & publishing: to manage submissions and (if accepted) publish conference proceedings in SciViD – Journal of Video Science with DOIs (text and/or video articles).

Publications, Recordings & Likeness

Presenters’ names, affiliations, abstracts/titles will appear in the public program and abstract book.

Accepted contributions may be published with a DOI in SciViD Proceedings (text and/or video). Published items become part of the permanent scholarly record and are intended to remain public.

The conference may include photography, audio and video recording. By entering the venue or speaking online you may be recorded. If you do not wish to be photographed/recorded, contact us in advance; we will provide reasonable accommodations (e.g., no-photo lanyard, camera avoidance near your seat), but some incidental capture may be unavoidable in public spaces.
Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use necessary cookies for site operation and session security, and (where enabled) analytics/measurement cookies to improve the service. You can control cookies via your browser settings. If you use our forms, embedded video or payment widgets, their providers may set cookies according to their own policies.

Data may be processed outside your country (including outside Australia and the EU/UK). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses).
Data Retention

Registration, invoices and tax records: retained for the period required by law (typically 5–7 years).

Abstracts, programs, published proceedings (text/video with DOI): retained indefinitely as part of the scholarly record.

Support inquiries/general correspondence: up to 24 months after event close, unless needed longer for legitimate interests or legal reasons.

Marketing consents: until you opt out.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, rectify, delete, restrict or object to processing, portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise rights or ask questions, email founder@nanotriz.com or editor@scividjournal.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Note: deletions cannot apply to already-published scholarly records (programs/proceedings) except for proven legal/ethical reasons.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the risks (encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege, audit trails). No method is 100% secure; please use strong passwords and do not email card numbers.
Children
Our events and sites are intended for professionals and students aged 16+. If you believe a minor’s data was provided without appropriate consent, contact us to remove it where applicable.
Changes
We may update this policy to reflect operational, legal or technical changes. The “Effective date” will be revised; material changes will be announced on the website or by email to registered participants.
